Texas Flower Gardens

July 10– 11

  We are headed back to the Flower Gardens of Texas.  This is a magnificent barrier reef that is only 110 miles off of the coast of Texas.  This is some of the greatest diving that you can do this close to home.   

  We did this trip last year and everyone had a great time.  The diving was spectacular and I heard from more than just one person that the “rig” dive was their favorite.  The visibility last year was 100+ feet.  There were all kinds of cool things seen last year, from Manta ray, to hammerhead sharks.  This is one of the greatest things about this area is the multitude of animals you can see. 

  We will be driving down to Freeport, Texas on the first day and the boat will depart at 8pm.  You will wake up the next morning ready to dive.  Most of the diving here is between 60 – 90 feet deep, so Nitrox is very beneficial here. You will make 3-4 dives per day with a couple of night dives thrown in. 

  This trip is $510/*$495 per person and includes the diving and the meals on the boat.  There is a $90 up-charge for using Nitrox.  We will also stop on the way home so we will add for a hotel room for the trip home.  For more information on this trip just call the store and talk to Keith.  The deposit is $100 per person.  There are just a few spots left on the first trip so book yours ASAP.
